Companies participating in the project are selected by a group of dedicated recruiters: our parameters are keywords from an alphabet compiled by us and our  knowledge of the area. Selection also takes into consideration projects that arise from a common desire to recover, preserve and enhance the wealth of the Italian territory. Therefore  we are not only limiting our focus on the environmental issues, but we also include organizations, large and small, where the rediscovery of craft traditions (such as lace and hand-loom weaving) local cuisine and old forgotten local recipes,  the protection of  local art and craft including local architecture and rural edifices, or the natural and architectural landscape, or even Km.0 catering, are the main soul and inspiration.
 

Companies that decide to join the website are required to  send a text of 1500 characters, inspired by the key words that we put together in our alphabet (an example: A = Environment, authenticity ..., T = tradition, protection, public transport...). Each individual story that is included in the website has a fundamental value. It gives a unique opportunity to showcase valuable, sometimes unexpected lifetime choices, through personal journeys of rediscovery, and above all, genuine passion. This honesty is the true barometer of what we offer, which, coupled with the social networking and blogging dialogue between people who are using the map, helps us to identify, ameliorate and divulge Italian sustainability to an international audience.
